Curry Night
Every first Monday of the month starting at 8.30pm. Cash prizes. New teams welcome, hosted by a different Quiz Master every month.
Every last Thursday of the month 7pm - 9.30pm. A choice of three home-made curries, with a vegetarian option. All served with rice, naan bread, poppadoms, salad and pickles.

Community Policing Clinics
PC Vanessa Privett and PCSO Veronica Smith will be available for a coffee and a chat on the last Wednesday of every month at the Good Intent Pub between 12.30 and 1.30pm.
Our doors are always open to host birthday parties, retirement parties, anniversaries and wedding receptions. We are happy to host parties when the pub is closed or open. We also have the facilities to operate outside bars for events such as weddings, parties etc. Please give Julian or Rachel a call to discuss details.

The GIGS play every Sunday morning and arrange regular events throughout the year. Set up to accomodate players of all handicaps. Ask at the bar for details of how to become a member.

Back by popular demand from the beer festival this year. Straubenzee will be playing at The Good Intent on Thursday 24th July at 8.30 pm. We are promised another great evening of live music.

Suprisingly for some, the Bingo event at the beer festival...after some initial reticence was lots of fun. We will be holding another Bingo evening for Proud of Pubs week.

The Good Intent Wheelers are starting their road cycling on summer Thursday evenings again this year, commemcing 3 April 2008. Initially starting at 6pm, then 6.30pm from 1 May. Rides start and finish at The Good Intent. Rides are between 12 and 30 miles, depending on light and fitness.
A second group will ride this year, proceeding at a more leisurely pace and suitable for both road and mountain bikes.
Routes will initially include Seale, Tilford, Elstead and Cutt Mill, but as the light improves, will extend to Dockenfield, Grayshott and Churt. Almost all of the routes will be on safe and quiet roads and there will always be someone to guide you around.
